In this week’s installment from Off the Record with Martin Luther, Luther comments on the majesty of Christ:

6605. Christ had no money, nor purse, also no earthly kingdom, for He had given the earth kings and princes. But there is one thing He kept for Himself, which cannot be the work of humans or angels, namely, that He is the victor over sin, death, and hell, and even in the middle of death He can save and rescue those who believe in Him through His Word.  (p. 383)
